The final match

Last game was yesterday, in Turkey!

But before that, I celebrated eTwinning football in Greece with a bunch of enthusiastic eTwinners - students, teachers, parents, friends!

The cheerleaders did a great job! Just watch!

The match in Turkey came as a culmination of all the matches, and I was both happy and sad during the whole game - happy to be among such dedicated sportspeople, sad to see the last show of the project ending!

Back to Portugal now! :-)

The match in Sibiu!

The players, the cheerleaders, the spectators and myself had a great time at the match in Sibiu! Everybody was so dedicated and working dearly towards the common goal - an exceptional game, with many goals and bursts of joy, very suitable for the Open Day at the Romanian school!

More questions answered

I was thinking of answering some more questions the students have asked me!
Look at the wiki with the questions:
So I already answered a few, now some info on my family and more!
  • I have thousands of brothers and sisters!!! I don't know how many we are, but we surely are many!
  • I learnt how to use a computer by watching the Portuguese teacher Helena doing it! As for writing the blog, it was no big deal once I got the hang of using the computer. I understand almost everybody blogs nowadays, so here I am too!
  • I usually travel by plane and by car - and I am not afraid of travelling this way, nobody should be, planes and cars are quite safe, you know!
  • The best football fields, in my opinion, are the natural ones, I mean with natural grass - even if it is planted on the special place and then cared for constantly. I bounce and dance better on this kind of fields.

In the meantime I know the match in Slovakia got played (on the 11th), without me sadly :-(, still I managed to obtain a few photos, take a look!

The French know how to play football!

I'm very happy to tell you that everything went all right at the match in France yesterday: the weather was very sunny and quite warm. The kids were soooo excited! We had a really great time together and they all enjoyed the match and all the activities around it!
So I've been to Portugal, Spain and France so far! Great!

What follows is some photos the French children took while I was in France!

Here I am when I arrived, when the French boys played the match, then when the cheerleaders were getting ready to do their part of the show and in the end after the game when the captain signed on me before sending me to Scotland:

The match in Spain was great!

First Portugal, next Spain!

As expected, I enjoyed myself a lot at the preparations for the match and at the match itself in Spain!

Have a look here!

Now I'm in France, but still inside the box :(. They said they would open it tomorrow when all the French students would be present! I can't wait to see their faces!

First Match!

So the first match was yesterday, and what an amazing success it was!
The Portuguese students, teachers and parents enjoyed themselves a lot with the eTwinning Football Matches kick off!
It all started on 16th March, at 03:15 pm in the Portuguese school's gymnasium as it was raining quite a bit outside! They carried me carefully to the gymnasium, and then we started our 'dance'! Players and me, cheerleaders and audience, fun and fair play!
The school's drum band and the cheerleaders' group did the opening, followed by the Portuguese national anthem. Then, both team captains and the referee toss the coin and the game began.
I liked the 'dance' a lot, my movements through the air felt like flying again, and now I am already on my way to Spain, where another sensational match awaits me!
The Portuguese school's team beat the European team 5-3, but it was an exciting game - 8 goals in a match! - and both teams worked really hard to do their best , kick me skillfully and score goals!!!
The cheerleaders were great! They supported their team all the way through and performed their choreography at the beginning, in the match's break and at the end.
